Randy Sommerfeld, Owner
Randy’s journey in construction started with his dad 45 years ago, building wood framed agriculture and commercial buildings.
In 1988, Randy began his career in the commercial drywall industry, beginning as an apprentice and eventually building AKS Interior Systems.
He is passionate about his team, the tremendous clients that AKS has the privilege of serving.
He sees AKS as an extension of his commitment to "doing good" in the community around him.
Rick Saunders, General Manager
Rick is a serious commercial drywall veteran. He has over 30 years of experience in leading a broad range of small to very large projects.
Along with his team of leaders and onsite professionals, Rick is no stranger to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in a way that delights clients and keeps his team growing.
Although prior to AKS Rick would be the first to confess that he hasn't always led projects the "AKS Way". Since joining the team he has sure embraced combining his tremendous wealth of experience with leading the team the AKS Way.
